These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the YourTech website at yourtech.net and the IT support services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. About YourTech

YourTech is a professional IT services company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, providing computer repair, malware removal, PC optimization, network setup, remote tech support, and related technology services to residential and small business customers throughout Metro Phoenix and nationwide via remote support.

2. Use of This Website

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) to use our website or purchase services.
  • You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.
  • You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or networks.
  • The content on this website is provided for informational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without prior written permission. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of this website at any time without notice.

3. Services & Scheduling

Services are provided on an appointment basis. On-site service is available Monday–Friday 9am–6pm. Evening and weekend appointments are available at a premium rate. Remote support is available based on technician availability.

We reserve the right to decline any service request at our sole discretion. We will notify you promptly if we are unable to fulfill a scheduled appointment.

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.

4. SMS Text Message Program

YourTech operates an SMS appointment reminder program to help customers stay informed about their scheduled service appointments. The following terms apply to all SMS communications sent by YourTech.

Program description

When you schedule a service appointment with YourTech, a staff member may send you an SMS opt-in request. If you reply YES, you will be enrolled to receive transactional SMS messages related to your appointments only. These messages may include:

  • Appointment booking confirmations
  • Appointment reminders (approximately 24 hours in advance)
  • Appointment reminders (approximately 2 hours in advance)
  • Reschedule or cancellation notifications

How to opt in

A YourTech staff member will send you a text message asking if you would like to receive appointment reminders. To opt in, reply YES. Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any service.

Message frequency

Up to 3 messages per appointment (confirmation, 24-hour reminder, 2-hour reminder). Additional messages may be sent if your appointment is rescheduled or cancelled.

Message and data rates

Standard carrier message and data rates apply to all SMS messages sent and received.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages. To re-enroll, contact us directly at (480) 420-8001 or [email protected].

5. Email Communications

By providing your email address and opting in, you consent to receive transactional email messages from YourTech related to your appointments, including booking confirmations, reminders, and scheduling updates. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. You may opt out at any time by contacting us directly at [email protected] or (480) 420-8001.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless a prior arrangement has been made.
  • Hourly rates apply as listed on our Pricing page. Time is billed in one-hour increments; partial hours may be billed as full hours.
  • Fixed-price packages (such as Malware Removal & Security Cleanup, PC Optimization & Performance Tune-Up, and New Computer Setup & Migration) are off-site services — we pick up your computer and return it the next day — and are billed at the quoted flat rate regardless of time required.
  • Evening and weekend appointments are billed at the premium rate as noted on our Pricing page.
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of service.

7. Remote Access Authorization

By requesting remote support, you authorize YourTech technicians to temporarily access your device to diagnose and resolve the issue described. You may terminate the remote session at any time. You represent that you have authority to grant such access to the device(s) in question.

Remote sessions are conducted over secure, industry-standard remote access software. We recommend that you close any sensitive applications not related to the support request prior to the session.

8. No Guarantee of Results

We will apply our best professional knowledge and effort to every job. However, YourTech cannot guarantee a specific outcome in all cases — some hardware failures, data loss scenarios, or software conditions may be beyond recovery. You will be informed of limitations and options before any non-recoverable work is performed.

9. Data & Backups

Important: You are responsible for backing up your own data before any service is performed. While we take every precaution to protect your data during service, YourTech is not liable for any data loss that may occur during the course of legitimate repair or maintenance work — including hardware repairs, operating system reinstalls, or malware removal procedures. We strongly recommend maintaining current backups of all important files.

If you request backup assistance as part of your service, additional charges may apply.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • YourTech's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
  • We are not responsible for hardware or software failures unrelated to the work performed, pre-existing damage, or issues that arise after the service is complete due to unrelated causes.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

12. Customer Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate information about the issue and cooperate with our technicians.
  • You confirm that you are the owner of — or have permission to authorize service on — any device brought to or accessed by YourTech.
  • You are responsible for ensuring our authorized access to equipment as needed to perform the requested service.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of YourTech or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
