These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the YourTech website and IT services. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this website and our services.

1. Services

YourTech provides residential and business IT support services including, but not limited to, computer repair, virus removal, data recovery, wireless networking, remote support, and IT consulting. The scope of any service engagement will be agreed upon prior to commencement of work.

2. Service Appointments & Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled at mutually agreed times. We reserve the right to reschedule with reasonable notice due to technician availability, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations when possible.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless a prior arrangement has been made.
  • Hourly rates apply as listed on our Pricing page. Time is billed in one-hour increments; partial hours may be billed as full hours.
  • Fixed-price packages (such as virus removal or PC tune-up) are billed at the quoted flat rate regardless of time required.
  • Evening and weekend appointments are billed at the premium rate as noted on our Pricing page.
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of service.

4. Remote Access Authorization

By requesting remote support, you authorize YourTech technicians to temporarily access your device to diagnose and resolve the issue described. You may terminate the remote session at any time. You represent that you have authority to grant such access to the device(s) in question.

Remote sessions are conducted over secure, industry-standard remote access software. We recommend that you close any sensitive applications not related to the support request prior to the session.

5. Data & Backups

While we exercise professional care, YourTech is not responsible for data loss that may occur during the course of service, including hardware repairs, operating system reinstalls, or virus removal procedures. We strongly recommend that you maintain current backups of all important data before any service is performed.

If you request backup assistance as part of your service, additional charges may apply.

6. No Guarantee of Results

We make every reasonable effort to resolve the issues presented. However, YourTech cannot guarantee a specific outcome in all cases — some hardware failures, data loss scenarios, or software conditions may be beyond recovery. You will be informed of limitations and options before any non-recoverable work is performed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YourTech's total liability for any claim arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about the issue, cooperate with our technicians, and ensure our authorized access to equipment as needed. You confirm that you are the owner of (or have permission to authorize service on) any device brought to or accessed by YourTech.
